About Me

I have been a public school teacher for the past 12 years, and am transitioning into a Christian school this year. I am excited about this opportunity, and look forward to the changes that it brings. I have taught grades 1-5 over the past 12 years. I prefer grades 3-5, and am teaching 5th this year. I love teaching Reading and Writing, and being able to integrate these skills in History and Science. I look forward to adding Bible to my curriculum this year. When I am not teaching, I am usually hanging out with my husband and our 2 dogs, Jaggers (Golden Retriever) and Shamu (Beagle). We love spending time with our families, and also ministering to those at our church. If there's still time left over, which isn't much if any, I love scrapbooking and creating my own cards with rubber stamps.
